When asked what prompted me into setting up Shield Them Support Organization, I say “man is not what he acquires but what comes out of his passion”

 

 The idea for this NGO started at my home in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, where I sat with the other members of the International Women’s Association listening to the Director of Protect and Save the Children Malaysia tell horrific tales of children being sexually abused under the watch of their caregivers.

 

Then and there I decided it was time to speak out and give a voice to the voiceless, to create more awareness in our communities. It is time to curb the menace of this act and its debilitating effects on the psyche as well as the development of helpless children who incidentally are potential victims.

 

Our children are the society of the future and in order for the society to have a healthy foundation, the safety of its children must be guaranteed.

 

OUR MISSION IS THREEFOLD: PREVENT, INTERVENE AND HEAL.
